You have to be 16 to buy BB bullets now. The law's also thinking about putting up the age group to 18 to buy cigarettes, this wouldn't bother me because I don't smoke.

Being in the TA I've managed to deal in some nice explosives. :P

You have to be 18 to buy fangs? Blimey, no wonder I didn't see many kids wearing them last Halloween!

/me hides his age.

I have full parental consent for this hobby though, and (because of my age) I am not "deeply" into it. Nothing large or overly complex.

I'm not into making explosives myself, I'm into buying from well known manufactures (Black Cat, Standard, ETC) I'm Just here to basically see how fireworks are made (Just an interest of mine) To get help and advice (hopefully) and share my tips and pictures when I decide to take some, lol.

Stop the arguments please, who cares about the age as long as we follow the rules and regulations and use fireworks carefully, I don't see a problem to be honest.

It's Christmas, celebrate and STOP with the childish comments.

Remember we were all kids once infact I still am,

Thanks,

Christopher Thompson

We care about the age, as stipulated in the T&Cs of this forum. We are hosting this information and want it to be used responsibly (not that there is anything overly dangerous posted) and 'highly suggest' you have parental consent for your hobby.
75 : 15: 10... Enough said!

I am aware I?m under the age to purchase fireworks in the UK. I choose the fireworks and my parents buy them, I bet I?m more responsibly with explosives than some of the adults out there. And NO that comment isn?t directed at anyone on the forums here before you make any judgments. :)

The same with me, I know the guy at our local fireworks shop (SP Fireworks) quite well and we have an arrangement where I go in and choose my fireworks then mum comes and pays/collects them for me. Thankfully in two years i'll be able to buy my own though :D .
