Ok, so they allow mk thunderflash grenades which leave craters in the ground, but dont allow ladyfinger firecrackers with nothing more than a harmless pop?! That's the stupidest law I've ever heard.

BTW 5thElement, could you please get that video uploaded? I'm eager to see those rockets in action!

Cheers

A bit of an exaggeration there. Publically available (and then only from specialised retailers who will certainly not sell to Johnny Chav) thunderflashes do not 'leave a crater in the ground' (more of a 'roughed up patch of earth'). Yes, they are capable of harm, but so is an ill-pointed rocked equally able to do so.

May I ask, 5thElement, did you get the Mk9 from a firework retailer?

Sorry for the delay in replying!

The mk9 thunderflash was purchased from an airsoft retailer (airsoft is like paintball if you dont know, except using guns that fire 6mm plastic bb's)

I'd had it for a while and just decided to use it then. Your right aswell, i exagerated a little about the "crater" as you said it was more of a roughed up patch of grass, well, basically no grass left on the patch lol i'll give you a list of places to buy them if you wish. They aren't cheap though, about ?4-5 each.

You can also get mk5 thunderflashes which are slightly quieter, one place is also selling "firecrackers" for 60p each, not too sure on the legality of these though. He said they're just like the bangers you used to get. Im not even sure if bangers are strictly illegal, or if it was just a voluntary industry ban on them?

The same place sell military thunderflashes for 10 quid each. (http://www.outdoorsm....uk/index2.html)

Regarding the videos, give me a day and i'll get them recompressed and uploaded :)
