Has anyone got pictures of the shells that were once legal in the UK? I've never been able to find a picture of them other than in a brochure.

Cheers,
Karl

Funny you should ask - I've just been checking out this website to try and find your bangers. There's at least one newsagent-bought shell on there too. Happy browsing : )

Cheers Creepin, looks like It's gonna take me a while to have a full detailed look at this site!

OT: Did you have any look at finding the bangers?

Cheers,

That standard bonfire poster was up every year in the post office window at the end of our street, all the standard fireworks were stored in a glass case,I went in there and bought a 10p mix just to look at them :D ,the post office insurance costs have put an end to that

Even in my childhood the largest box was only around ?7.00 'I'm now 30 ish  ,my dad would secretly buy them and just before we went to the bonfire party and threw them in with everyone elses he let me set off a few

Thanks for the memories creepin :)
