As we really need the society to grow, we need to promote it.

It occured to me that the only mention of it on my web site (which gets a lot of visitors) was buried in the links section.


I've now rectified that by putting a hefty link on the front page.

Lots of members have got websites and I don't recall any that have got conspicuous links (forgive me if I've missed them). How about it chaps??

Hi Folks,

I'd love to promote the UKPS but when I click on the link to the website all I get is an old page saying "To be updated this weekend" The last update seems to be in August? http://www.pyrosociety.org.uk/

Perhaps I am linking to the wrong site or something?

The sites has been cleaned up a bit. Except for the Login - everything is linked, and the information is more up to date.

There is going to be more regular updates from now on, and information will be added to the site on regular basis.

Would be a good idea to get a few leaflets designed that members could print off and leave in the local firework shops. Might help to let people know we exist, even if only 2% of people that pick up a leaflet join.
