Hi
I was bored so I made a calculator in Microsoft Excel that worked out how much Sodium Chlorate and Potassium Chloride would be needed to make Potassium Chlorate. It takes into account any impurities of the two and works out how much of each you need to make your desired amount. If anybody wants it then just say so. I was also considering making one in PHP to put on the members site if it was any good.

It's used as a salt substitute so probably get it from chemists or super markets. Don?t know how expensive it is though, only made the calculator because I was bored

It's called Lo-Salt and can be bought from Health Food shops in small tubs (100gm) but but Woolworths and Boots also stock it in 350gm and 700gm tubs.
It is made up of:
66.0% Potassium Chloride
33.3% Sodium Chloride
00.7% Magnesium Carbonate (dessicant)
