Does anyone know what the fuel for the old Jetex model aircraft motors was made out of?

well,, I have an i/c model car, and itr is made out of nitromethane (15%,) castor oil and summat else ( might be alchol or water?)

The composition varied. A typical one was apparently composed of guanidine nitrate, ammonium nitrate and nitroresorcinols (mono, di or tri, I am not sure).
There is a Jetex website with the various fuel compositions on, somewhere. It's been a while since I looked, so I am not sure exactly, but they were generally composed of those three things above in varying proportions (perhaps with catalysts etc).

Do a google search, you should be able to find the website with more exact info on.

PS - the other thing in that car fuel is methanol, zanes.

Guanidine nitrate and nitrorescorcinols eh? Was there a warning on the packet warning not to drop them? :o
