Could we possibly have the website looking more like the old UKPS one (see here) rather than it's current very generic, bland new template.

And also sort out the "This is an area on your website where you can add text. This will serve as an informative location on your website, where you can talk about your site." about box.

Not sure if this is already planned or not...

I know my opinion is worthless but:

The currant site is fine, it just needs a top banner / logo

Personally i dislike wordpress, if you want a all-in-one package joomla is much better

the site looks really good Must admit didnt see the old one .I am reluctant to post tech detaills on open bbs What would be the cost of an encrypted password protected board I would happily make a donation towards it.Access could be given to anti terrorist squad it would help legit pyro users if we could talk with these guys ....

Many will notice the site is being redesigned. This is a gradual process. There are no plans to move away from the current forum software, which is one of the better packages money can buy.

every time we buy chemicals for our hobby we could get wrongly labelled its a shame for valuable resources to be waisted and id rather talk than have the inconvenience of disruption of my hobby ive worked alone for many years pyro is my winter months night time hobby it would be great to have a members meeting how about a uk midlands one ??? ive nothing to hide most of its gone up in smoke and rocket cases!!!! anyway i expect my enemies enemy to be my friend

I knocked up this slightly different one based on the old header. Just replace the original (wordpress/wp-content/themes/dropshadow-2column/images/bg.gif) with the below if you think its any good...
