I'm trying to scratch build a Skylark rocket, but i am finding it really difficult to get info on dimensions and marking. There are a few web pages out there, but nothing comprehensive -does anyone know of a source of info?

I do, but the designs are classified MOD property! You need to approach the MOD and bid for a manufacturing licence. A Spanish company tried a couple of years ago and were rejected!

Why do you want to make a rocket that big anyway?

The National Space Centre in Leicestershire has a display Skylark. Speak to them! If it is on display then it should be worth enquiring about a few pics to make a passive and scale inert model.

If you want to make a full scale model complete with guidance system and payload, expect a knock on the door!

Hmmm... like the big orange tube above?

Our friends at Waltham Abbey could possibly help out and might appreciate a scale model for their display.

Thanks for all the help. i've managed to get a scale drawing from "rockets of the world" by Peter Alway.
i'm planning to make at least 2 down scales
the first is nearly complete and is a tiny /64 down scale to fly on MMX motors, the next will probably be a 2 stager on a 24 to 18mm motors.
