Similar to a couple of other threads- just a general thread to share your thoughts about a display you have been to! Hopefully over time people will add to these threads, and a good, objective series of reviews will be available. Also, if any organisers are ready this its useful feedback!

Last year I went to a few of displays, some I really enjoyed, others were so-so and one I walked out of before it started.


The advantage of marks out of ten for different areas is to show what was good, what was bad and what was ugly!

I'll start with an example- I'll add reviews as I go to more displays:

Monaco National Day Fireworks-

Organisation- 5/10 - Literally a country-wide display, but no advertised. I missed the start because of confusion with days.
Pyrotechnic entertainment- 7/10- Top quality Cat 4 stuff, but little imagination/theme etc, from what I could tell. Firing was generally good, but at times slightly un-cordinated.
Safety- N/A Was miles away, so not really relevant
Value for money- 10/10 - Free!
