Why not do both? Two talks/demos would be good. B)

If people are up for it, then yeah. I'll do more prep work so the cake demo won't take as long. If this is ok with steve, then I'm quite happy to do two. Although nerve racking I enjoyed the one at the convention :)

Yeah, go for it- we have the afternoon and the evening, so lots of time.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Yes there's plenty of space/time, but saturday is the main event. NO noise pyro friday. If you search this thread you'll find the postcode, or message icarus.

phil-Those are not mines in the vid, their suspended shells!. I'm working on projecting patterns from mines, hence the name. Is there a chance you won't be coming pal ???

The other thing to consider maybe is a firing order? We probably have about 45 minutes of decent darkness, so if 10 people bring some pyro and wish to fire it in the dark, thats actually only means that each has less than 5 minutes in which to fire .

Personally, I'm going to bring mostly stuff that can be fired before 10pm on the Saturday- I have some good cat 2 colour burst rockets, they are decent in twilight so thats cool.

Me too, sounds like a good idea- another talk for the list- should be an enjoyable afternoon.

I've got some Cat 3 bits for the Saturday- nothing major, just some smaller stuff- some Bright Star cakes, some cool looking Fireworks International stuff and the "new" Inferno Sound.

I'll ring Icarus this week to check (it's his 'show' after all) but does anyone have an idea when the 'talks' will be and the general order?

I would have thought something like:

Arrival, initial setup 2.00 - 3.00 (as per Icaus post)

'Formal' talks 5.30 - 7.00

Nosh, informal chat and set up 7.00 - 9.00

'Daylight stuff' 9.00 - 9-30

'Night time stuff' 9.30 - 11.00

Last time Cooperman bought his firing system and we hooked up most of the show, with other odds fired by hand. This made for a pretty slick show, with not much dead time. Are you doing this again Phill?

Any comments on timing?

As long as I can get down yep the boxes will be there too. Hopefully less damp this time so no worrying about them either! They dried out nicely though :-)
