I've noticed that Night Star and Bright Star have a small single number in the bottom corner of the information panel (that yellow panel that says BS 7114 etc). Well, cut a long story short, its the year. 6 means 2006 , 7 means 2007 etc...
I know it is obvious, but I save some being fired- the "6s" are flash, the 7s onwards are not.
Men Shun makes it easier- they print the full date.
check the year of Spec

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is.
