This stuff is dusty as hell!!! I got a sorta coffie grinder to blend my stuff up and doing 2 mins at time and it's really making it fine stuff, dusty as hell though. Hoefully this make my meal powder better.

Sulfer is next!

a word of advice.......do smaller amounts, and leave it in the jar for a few minutes before removing the lid....

I use the same method....a delongi coffee grinder, my kno3 comes at 30 mesh, 40 seconds grinding around 50 Grams makes KNO3 very very fine...finer than icing sugar, ive had batches pass 300mesh with no problems ( dont have a mesh higher than 300 )

However...I only EVER grind KNO3 in my coffee grinder......if i was going to start grinding anything else, id buy another one.
Better safe than sorry. I buy my charcoal ready to go - airfloat Willow - and my Sulpur is pretty fine already...i normally give it 5 mins in my mortar and pestle.

This produces a fairly quick BP - but when riced its silly quick.

I have often considered dampening the kn03 down prior to grinding, perhaps even with a little water......anyone tried this before ?

I'm doing small amounts and leaving it too de-dust then trasnfering it and wearing a mask to be safe along with gloves. My charcoal is airfloat and williow and i'll just add the 3 lots and shake it too mix it, safest bet i can think of!

Put clingfilm over the top of a blender jar, 2 mins then stand for 10 mins! That way some of what you mill stays in the jar only a little floats away!

mmm sulphur, my pet hate for milling (dedicated jar as it is so difficult to clean). It sticks like the brown stuff to a blanket, I believe a pinch of cab-o-sil helps.
Phew that was close.

Just try sieving it through anything 40 mesh or finer P.I.T.A

BANG?........you'll be working on your BP for a long time if you want it to bang un-confined.

The product you have is actually called Greenmix it isn't BP. In a small mill that greenmix will take 12 - 24 hours at a volume level of half of the media level, to produce a moderate BP.
Then it needs damping and either pressing and corning in the trad way or ricing with dextrin and screening.

Even so BP doesn't make much of a bang when lit unconfined.
