Luckily the Triple H bomb and the Brightsar, Towering Inferno made a nice finale and the poor rockets were quickly forgotten.
The Nightstar barrage pack was okay and they all packed a punch but I felt a lot of them were very much the same to one another and could have done with a bit more variety.
Also, just a message to anyone for next year. Avoid supermarket fireworks at all costs! The Space Attack Standard cake from Sainsbury's consisted mainly of polystyrene! The Fission cakes were also a disappointed. Luckily though, I expected these and fired both of them together.

I actually found that Men Shun's older spec fireworks were worse than the new 2008 range. Darkness Invader, Lethal Tank, Lightning Strike etc all seemed rather same and monotonous to me. On the other hand, Palms Away and Cosmic Collision seemed more impressive in terms of colour and effect. Strange!
