Just playing with the new camera, check these fiery droplets out:

How many frames per second are you getting with your new camera it seems pretty good, not a cheap camera I would guess?

Max framerate is 60FPS at 1280x720, which gives me leeway to slow down the footage and render @ 24FPS (which I did with the droplets vid). Not cheap no, but good value I think - it's a Canon 7D. Looking forward to doing more pyro stuff with it!

could be silane production, SiH4.

produced by reacting magnesium silicide with 20% hcl.

spontaneously ignites on contact with air

maybe its being bubbled through liquid paraffin ?
