hmm just read an article about the use of, paradichlorobenzine, which is found in said mothballs, and its possible use as a low temperature chlorine donor, it could be handy for those ap blues?, whats your thoughts? im getting a box anyway its worthy of investigation, hmm "mothball blue" nice name, rolls of the tongue ^_^

Just be sure to check the ingredients- some mothballs are naphthalene.

I have a feeling it sublimes at room temperature, once you get the mothballs, leave one out and see if it shrinks after a few days. I'm not sure whether it would still try to sublime when bound in a star, but you wouldnt want stars with mysteriously vanishing chlorine donors...

I have some from when I was experimenting with its use as a smoke producing ingredient to replace napthalene because the chemistry is similar, but seems it doesnt behave in the same way.

It sounds interesting though, where did the information come from?
You can never have a long enough fuse...
