Is it dangerous to ram a comp if it has kc104 like kc104/sulfur/charcoal.Using it as a propellant I got high altitude flights of 600 meters.Better than nitrate the perch was substituted

I wouldn't ram it, you should always remember that while KClO4 is less sensitive that KClO3 it's still much more so than KNO3.

Besides, even while ramming BP accidents happen.

Firstly, it is not advisable to ram Perchlrate compositions at all.

Secondly, while Perchlorates may not have quite as serious issues with Sulfur as Chlorate, that does not mean a huge lot. there is no risk of spontanious ignition, like there is with Chlorate/Sulfur, but in terms of the extreme sensitivity of the mix, Perchlorate is a very close second. Take out a pinch of K perc and place it on a concrete surface, add a pinch of Sulfur and give it a whack with a hammer.

Even with pressing I would be uncomfortable with the addition of sulfur. I imagine the mix stuck between the tube and ramming rod, and the friction grinding it...

Sulfur allows nitrates to liberate more oxygen upon decomposition, but the same is not true of perchlorates. If your doing a rocket fuel with KP, I'd leave out the sulfur.

You should probably press it instead. KCLO4 and Sulfur are very sensitive together.
