Other than Brothers, who have already been mentioned, who else is actually bringing new lines in this year?

I hear that some aren't, just selling the same stock as last year.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Cool. Royal Party looks good.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Royal Party and Absolute from the same source? ( I havn't seen much of either.)

IMO This year will see several brands checking carefully what is in the warehouse and getting out everything they can, especially old stuff from the back of the store.

There is probably a lot of stuff upgraded to 1.3 needing to be shifted that cannot easily be transported. Strangely a consumer can buy and transport 1.3 fireworks to BS but the supplier has big problems delivering them!

Keep mannequins and watermelons away from fireworks..they always get hurt..

AF import Royal party but others do also i believe, they are not the only importers of it.

Dynamic Fireworks are bringing in new Planet fireworks this year.

I aggree with Arthur, lots of stores will need emptying, so silly how the customer can come and fill thier boot within limit and drive off but a carrier/supplier in a van has major problems. Stupid EU.

The impression I got was that they are two seperate companies, yeah, but some of their lines are identical, presumably as they are sourced from the same Chinese manufacturer.

Other companies do this too, of course. Epic had a firework (I forget it's name) but it was identical to "Rhino's Wrath" from Fireworks International. Basically, same item, different label.

Editing posts after the fact really does mess about with the flow of the post. I'm going to suggest to the mods that edits are only available for a set amount of time.

OK.

The guys who run absolute used to be the sole importers of Royal Party, after a couple of years they decided to go their own way and bring in their own brand. Absolute Fireworks.

A couple of years later and Royal Party, which is a sweedish company import their original lines. Both companies have since brought in new lines and also kept some of the faves.

But Royal Party are the ONLY importers of their products, just like Absolute theirs.
Regards.

I think the point is that (from a business point of view) Absolute and Royal Party are two seperate companies, they both buy from supplier in China.

Great Northern have their new catalogue out now!

Some new items, and many from the old range. Unlikley I will be buying from there this year myself (but never say never), due to financial limitations, but it's a well run shop, always with a good range in stock, so well with visiting.

Yes, I feel you may be right.

Also, as a general question, do you know how good the new spec Stampede is (I assume it is now new spec?) They old one was a UKFR best buy, of course.

(Edit, 14:53)..

The new items in the range appear mostly to be items from the "Firework Emporium" range.

are there ones that are not from Fireworks Emporium??

Dynamic Fireworks bought Fireworks Emporium last year, hence some of the Fireworks Emporium fireworks have made it into Dynamics range (and also those of one of their partner companies, Great Northern)
