Ay opinions on these? Spoted them in Waitrose on BOGOF offer.

Large box looked pretty hefty but unsure how they perform...

E.g.

Avoid at all costs mate. Spend your money at a proper all year round fireworks shop. ;)

I've had good and bad stuff from them, however if anything goes wrong they wont be there after Bonfire Night to help you, they are seasonal sellers.

You would get a better deal and better fireworks from an all year shop and they would be there after.

I'm not sure about JTF personally, other people here might be able to give some advice on them.

Whereabouts are you, there should be an all year fireworks shop nearby?

Trade only!

However, if you are in a trade, I'm fairly sure it isn't too hard to get a card.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Hmm theres not many all year shops around you, 2 I know off which aren't far and seem pretty good are the Fireworks Warehouse near St Helens

http://www.thefirewo...co.uk/index.htm

and Manchester Fireworks

http://www.mancheste...ction/index.php

or further away, Fireworks Factory in Lancaster and Epic at Batley.

Hi. JTF are selling the latest BrightStar range of fireworks at less than half RRP. Some good fireworks to pick from but I would avoid the rockets imo

Hi. JTF are selling the latest BrightStar range of fireworks at less than half RRP.

They have a limited number of items from Bright Stars range (not all the items in the catalogue are in stock).

Not all prices are less than half the RRP , as the RRP includes VAT, and the quoted JTF price doesn't.

So eg, Thunder Strike, RRP £12.99, JTF price £6.90 including VAT.

If you are buying for trade purposes you can claim the VAT back, so would cost you £10.42 at full price or £5.99 from JTF.

If you are buying to sell at full RRP, you would pay £5.99 , and of the selling price keep £10.42 and collect £1.53 in VAT for the taxman.
