Sad to see not so many people doing it on the proper day though.


It's Friday next year, so that should be better.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Nah- I doubt even old spec could be heard from Bolton...

Been treated to quite a few fireworks tonight courtesy of the neighbours, which has cheered me up whilst I sit indoors revising :-) Have also heard quite a few that I can't see. Glad to see they haven't completely stopped - roll on New Year!! Then after that probably no fireworks until Bonfire Night 2010 :-(

Saw a few going off last night- one very nice cake, which really "boomed". Single violet/reddish crysanthemums, with occassional volleys of crossettes.

Not been able to get on recently because my computer broke, well it all went quiet round here after Sunday 8th. :(

Been a good year though but was hard to tell because it really was spread out over 3 or 4 main days this year. We had virtually no competition on Bonfire night itself, hopefully with next year being on a Friday it will be better for fireworks on the 5th.
