Good stuff Matt. The Korg effects are great. I use LINE-6 (POD) - a fantastic vintage amp can be made.
Bet you can't wait.....

I'll let you into a secret Matt.....
A friend of mine is an electronics whiz. He's building a wha-wha pedal that fits into a shoe.
It uses membrane switches and a cpu / signal chips. You simply 'rock' back and forth on your foot to change the tone and operate the pedal.
A great invention me thinks!
What style do you play? Death metal or Shadow covers ?

Hahaha, that almost sounds crazy enough to work!
I am a metal person myself. I play all sorts though, I even went through a classical phase. Im still trying to "find myself" on the guitar I suppose. Lately ive been working on solo kinda stuff, mainly trying to learn sweeps.
shadow covers?

Sweep picking eh? You should see your fellow countryman - Frank Gambale "The Thunder from Down Under".
He's the veritable master of sweep picking. I used to be able to sweep pick. It needs a lot of practice (and continually so) but once it happens it's so cool!
Best use minor arpeggios for this.
Have you tried super locrian mode - it fits really well over altered 7'ths (eg 7#9).
The Swedish metal meister of the early 90's *(Ynwgie Malmsteem) used this a lot!

Oh yes.
Frank Gambale was one of the most prominent Australlian players of the 90's.
If you haven't already done so check out some of his stuff.
A bit dated but still VERY cool.
Steve Vai and Joe Satrianni followed his path.....
