There was only about half a pint, oh and the inside of the barrel was burnt!! It tasted like heaven lol...BUT Dohhh

All whisky barrels are burnt inside, this is where it gets its burnt oaky tasty and colour from!

I can't believe it, there are experts that would have given you their house to get a chance like that.... you are a very lucky man, I'm not that rich but I'd have given part ownership of my shed

Oh well, live and learn. Though very much doubt I'd get that chance again. Looking back there would have been about a pint or more, as abit was lost or "leaked" as I cut the barrel.

Mmmmmm, belgian beer. Now you guys are talking my kind of drink. Though I am pretty equal opportunity for all sorts of tasty alcohol. I have been on a bit of a rum kick lately.

It's hard to pick a favorite, but Achel 8o Blonde is very near the top. You guys would probably boo and hiss at me, but several of my other favorite belgian style beers aren't made in Europe at all. I'm also a big fan of stouts.

I prefer Czech and German beer.

Zlatopramen Half 'n Half is a very good sweet, beer, especially in Christmas time. :)

Those who appreciate a fine beer should have a look here:

Probably the three most unique beers I've ever tasted. Very hard to find in the UK but worth tracking down.

Our saviours : In the ninth century, a team of Chinese alchemists trying to synthesize an "elixir of immortality" from saltpeter, sulfur, realgar, and dried honey instead invented gunpowder.

Drinking a vodka from herefordshire called Chase. Straight. At room temperature, it's extremely smooth.
