The UKPS again intend to have a stand at the Stanford Hall Firework Champions event on the 31st July.

Firework Champions Website

Last year, about 7 of us were kept very busy talking to members of the public & we would love some more helpers. If you can come & are willing to chat to people about your favourite aspect of fireworks please let me know.

Also if anyone has time to make some inert cutaways of fireworks - Shells, rockets whatever, or anything relevant that that you would like to show, that would be very helpful too.

If you don't want to commit, but will be there as a spectator, please come and say hello.

It's always a great show.

Well if it's anything like last year, it's all hands to the pump! You will be very welcome...

Just a reminder that Stanford Hall is this Saturday.

I'm loading up the car with interesting goodies and Digger is hiring a van!

Please come if you can - the UKPS team will be there from about 3-30pm - we will be at the end of the line of burger vans!

mmm - donuts, burgers & fireworks

Phil
I intend to get there about 4.30 so will be available to help if required to get things set up. I have some very small rocket spindles if they would be of interest?
See you there.

Yes, that will be fine.

I'm sure people wil be interested in the spindles - just make sure you keep an eye on them, as there are an awful lot of people milling about! I'd hate anyone to lose anything precious - Not that we had any trouble last year...

Nice to see Candle, Christine, Phil again as well as acouple of other users (sorry don't know your user names as you all had "normal" name badges on)

hope your drive home wasnt too bad Phil, I had a nice quiet one!

4 excellent displays, congratulations to Spitfire who won, good choice of music and good choreography to it. commiserations to flashpoit and gforce, good diplays though. and MLEs, well, different choice of music, but excellent show (would never have thought of using Pirates of the carribean!)

Many thanks to those who helped create the excellent stand at Stanford Hall & staff it for the evening. I thought we looked very professional & did the reputation & standing of the UKPS a power of good.

Lots of interest from the public again, so a very worthwhile event - well done all!
