bottom of cheep buckets and cut wholes in for weight reduction get a couple of rockets and tie them how you want modern way of doing it instead of wood

down side takes longer to decompose unless you find it and use again

Ricasa's dola's.

We sell the frames they use for these devices 245mm diameter. 4 drivers up... delay and then again 4 drivers up. A couple of tubes with glitter makes the nice tail.

I have some pictures of these before launch, not possible to upload them on this forum?

I am all for experimenting and i do think my bp rockets will be up to the job but bp rockets on their own wont give much of an effect so does anybody recomend and easy sort of glitter/ metal spark rocket comp that uses a similar composition as standard bp? or any other comp i can use without having dificulties with ramming due to sensativities within the comp.

I tried to add abit of ali 60 mesh but it had no effect, i didnt try magal incase it made it to sensitive. I also tried to add willow mix to my bp and the test motors lost all power hardly lifted the stick up out the tube before shooting across the field Posted Image luckily not toward me !!!!

I intend to produce one of these pieces of pyro art-form for my own accomplishment but i want it to be a succes this is why i have begun to make experimental rocket motors and now ime having allot of succes with standard bp its time to move onwards to the next phase, the " effect" Any guidence and suggestions are most welcome i may even produce a video if i do manage to pull it off.

Jay

Forgot about this thread, i actually had a crack at making one of these. Used the bottom of a small bucket made 4 of my standard motors and used 4 shop bought fountains just to see if it would actually work. An if it wasnt for 2 of the motors failing after the first 2 seconds it would have been perfect but unfortunatly 2 motors failed, it still hovered about 16 ft in the air while the remaining 2 motors burned out. I think with more reliable motors its a piece of cake to make one ;)

makes me cringe when i see these guys, striking ferous metals, bp in glass bottles, lets all stand inside the spinny thing.
on a more serious note ive seen bigger 4 and 6 nozzles on youtube they look amazing with so many tails some 15ft plus in dia.

scaling down should be ok but i would think the high wall would cause it to be more erratic in the wind as it would be lighter.

these were available in a cat 3 cake last year with a ring of candles around it something like ufo or flying saucer about 25 inches in dia and £200.
