Please be aware of this site http://www.peekfirew...co.uk/index.htm

The site owner had initially linked UKFR in such a way as to give the impression the forum belongs to him and his site, this has been swapping back and forth between UKFR and UKPS.

The information offered on the site is unsafe and wholly incorrect for example:

What are the different Fireworks Categories? There are four main categories as classified by BS7114 : 2 : 1988.

Category 1: 1.4G, (0336) - Indoor Fireworks (Party Poppers etc)

Category 2: 1.3G, (0335) - Garden Fireworks (The majority of fireworks supplied by shops 5 meter distance)

Category 3: 1.2G, (0334) - Display Fireworks (The largest fireworks on general sale to members of the public)
These fireworks must be sited at least 25 metres from spectators, buildings and other hazards.
Category 4: 1.1G, (0333) - Partially assembled and specialist devices for professional use only. These items must not be sold to or used by the general public.

Not quite accurate!!!

The site owner has also broken the law and used without permission an extensive amount of UKFR media.

The owner (a UKFR member) has been warned but asof this post the site remains.

In addition to the inaccuracies highlighted above I would urge any reader to ignore the advice given on the "storage of fireworks" page.

Following the guidance that is quoted may potentially place you in breach of current legislation.

I would be happy to advise any forum reader on any aspect of storage in open discussion or by PM

Odd website...

It's inaccurate, most of it's been pinched, but he seems to have gone to a lot of trouble to put it together.
