I am looking for a supply of sticks for 1lb rockets with decent headers. Stripwood, dowel. Not wobbly bamboo canes from b&q. No space for a bench saw. Just something I can buy readily or order online. Don't mind paying for bulk orders so long as it works out less than a quid a stick.
Any suggestions? Cheers.

I get mine at my local builders merchants , 3/8 square softwood from the mouldings rack
