Hi,
I was recently working on a festival lighting job, (as I have a number of times before) and a thought struck me. The old unfused 15 amp and 5 amp round pin plugs are still used in lighting and easily available. The pins are brass and would make a good low cost starting point for home made gerb spindles etc. Details of pin sizes here.

I'm sure they would work for jerbs and short core whistles, just mount them on a block of wood.

I will indeed, but it will be very unlikely to be this year as I have a fair bit of display crew work and so no time to play :0(
