Due to a huge workload, Joseph would reluctantly like to give up the position of Treasurer to the UKPS.
We are therefore looking to appoint a new Treasurer, as a matter of some urgency.
The main job functions are:
1) To administer the bank account and Paypal account.
2) To be a signatory and pay out expenses etc.
3) To briefly attend (by phone) the fortnightly management meetings.
4) To keep the Membership Secretary up to date on members who pay by Direct Debit.
5) To prepare a year end statement for the AGM & Companies House.
The UKPS accounts are very basic and there are very few transactions. I think it's fair to say that if you can look after your own bank account you could look after the UKPS one! I would estimate the time involved is around 2 hours per month. Perhaps a little more at year end.
This is a vital position, without which the UKPS cannot function.
If you think you may be able to help us, please message me.

Hopefully Phil you will get some replies for the vacant position.
Bit of topic, I pay my membership renewal by Paypal and I get my new membership card some time later.
Would it not be good practice to have email confirmation of payment received from UKPS once it is made,
Just a little reassurance that all is in hand and your custom is valued.

Freud. Artists, in this view, are people who may avoid neurosis and perversion by sublimating their impulses in their work.
