The fireworks industry in India is supposedly quite unsophisticated despite having been established there for many years, initially by the Japanese. I would imagine this would be reflected in both manufacturing techniques and the quality of the end product. The price difference (between India and China) combine with the sheer scale of the industry out there will almost certainly ensure the future of India as the next global source of mass produced fireworks, at least in terms of material falling into the 1.4 G class anyway. Products more hazardous than these will, I suspect, end up being produced in Europe. I predict the demise of the Chinese industry within 5 - 10 years.

I saw some Indian 3" cylinder shells fired. The lifted to about five feet then landed and went like a hand grenade after a few seconds.

I'm not trying that again in a hurry

that not the case with all shells,You have to choose from a genuine big company.I have seen one prematurely blast on the ground but never fall from the sky...Indian firework company is old and they are trying to bring more safety and innovation.

With all due respect, you are a new member and a consumer in another country whose pricing structure and regulations are nothing like our own.

I am not at liberty as a professional pyrotechnician to post screen shots of trade lists.

Take my word for it, and for the record I pay no more than £1.50 for a 75mm shell too...... 75mm shells that MASSIVELY out perform your 6 weak consumer shells for £30 or whatever the equivalent currency is.

I thought i would say wellcome to the forum Chinos and i enjoyed seeing your video as it is interesting to see what people in other parts of the world are allowed to buy, regardless of the performance in comparison to what i have access to :)

Also happy diwali.
