Apart from frightening the crap outta people at school, work, bbq's ect, I've had lots of fun blowing up dog poo, and cow poo but thats not nearly as smelly as dog poo

This was the Webb's Bait Farm explosion, well covered in these two videos -

The "factory" was in a secret cellar underneath a barn, and someone was apparently mixing flash powder in a 55 gallon drum using a stirrer on an electric drill, if you can believe such stupidity. The cellar contained the blast and shot the unfortunate staff of 11 up through the roof of the barn, some landing hunderds of feet away.
Illegal flash crackers are still big business in the US, and whenever someone finds out for the first time about my hobby, they almost always ask me if I can make them some M80s.

Sadly in most countries the first unobtainable firework is the most desireable, hence the reason why people in the UK want shells. If the trade were not so careful there would be people selling single shells.
Keep mannequins and watermelons away from fireworks..they always get hurt..
