I had exactly the same problem some years back could not get on the forum for weeks, can’t remember how I resolved the issue now.

Not working on IE for me, but OK on chrome - not good as looks as if forum has been down for many days.

Like it or not many people still use IE, including old versions-  has there been an update of the forum software - if so, it's not a very friendly one...

Nothing has changed at this end. I will try updating the forum in the hope it will fix it, failing that I will have to contact the software vendors.

The forum software providers are looking into this, it's possibly a compromised file on the server, before we patched the software to a more recent version.

At last - I can now access the forum properly again!

I haven't been able to get on using IE for quite some while now.

An interesting point to note though is that as soon as I accessed main the forum page, I was prompted to run a Java applet. I chose not to do so (as it appeared suspicious) and carried on as normal.

As of last night, every time I access the forum my anti-virus programme informs me that it intercepted a harmful file in the network traffic and did not download it.

The infection name is reported as follows:

Exploit: Java/Majava.B

Just giving you guys the heads up as there is a lot of Java-related malware out there (which is why I keep Java disabled). So please ensure that your AV programs are up-to-date.

Mods - you might want to check to ensure that there are no compromised files?
