Hi,

I was about to apply for membership and it appears that you don't have a way of doing this on-line :(

It appears to be an old  "print-off and post" method.

I would be willing to write an on-line membership "web app" if you're interested. It's pretty trivial to write this in HTML5 with JQuery. So, any potential new member can apply on-line with all of the info' given, including their ID.

Just a thought. What do you think?

Regards, Chris.

Thanks for the offer, we may well take you up on that. I will certainly put the idea to the committee at our next meeting.

I think this has been suggested before and IIRC it was po pooed because the society wants photos and inside leg measurements :P

Still, things change, I reckon it's a good idea (if anyone is interested in a members opinion)

Obviously we will require a photo of the members inside leg with a tape measure strapped to it and a copy of the calibration certificate for the tape measure :)

If the tape measure was purchased recently I believe calibration isn't required untill the second year so a proof of purchase may be acceptable in lieu

Freud. Artists, in this view, are people who may avoid neurosis and perversion by sublimating their impulses in their work.

I think the link was removed because the Society demands sight of hard identity before membership. You get membership in your real name as on Passport/Driving Licence or similar not in your forum name.

The link is for membership renewals, not new members.

Discovered my membership has lapsed - has it really been that long ?!

Do we have a way to do it online yet, or is it still posting the form ?

Probably a good reason to turn up at the AGM and hand money to the membership secretary!

You can renew with PayPal or Bank Transfer on line, here is the link to the PDF on how to do that http://www.pyrosocie...ys_to_renew.pdf

Hopeful we will be streamlining the process in the near future.
