See wat you mean.
The sparks look Ti ish, not too much in the way of flash, maybe a small amount of 'Armstrongs mix' (check legality apparently it's not a pyro comp) with some fine Ti powder mixed in (wet) then stuck onto a ematch.
Just a guess really.

Cooperman used be able to supply 'pyrogenless' ematches that you could dip yaself. Never tried em but i'm sure they would be a good base for some 'exotic ematches' might be worth dropping him a PM. He also used to have a system for making them from scratch it sounded rather involved but might be a good start point if you want to try different thickness wire and such like.

yes tried it, zirconium works for the z16 squib type of effect
but the sparks are different in the above video and definitely look like titanium
ignition from ematch blank and getting the spread from such a small amount is the problem
