I almost always call it potassium nitrate, so that's what I voted, but "Cesspit Crystals" really takes my fancy 
BTW, a few of other names I've seen: "Chinese Snow," "White Gold," "Salniter," "Nitric Acid, Potassium Salt," "Nitre," "Salpractica," "Salpertica," and "Salbratica." The last three were actually used to distinguish between different grades of the salt.

KNO3 is what I use when writing it. guess im just lazy.

I'm used to KNO3 probbably because in a lot of the books I've read they have used the chemical formula as compaed to the name so I have to go with KNO3.
