Simply put rice crispies in net bag, stick under tap for a few seconds and swing bag around to get rid of additional moisture. place into tub with dry BP/Dextrin mix and shake, they will separate and coat with BP. Let dry for a day or so and littly moisten with spray bottle and shake in tub with BP/Dextrin once more and then leave to dry.
Or simply place in bowl add milk and sugar and eat (or in Richards case, 25kg cremora will do the job) :D

i tried spelt husks instead of the rice husks once, but the problem was, that the burstpowder didn't stick to the husks, even though the were wet.

@ Paul: so you say the powder sticks to corn cob mix?
well i guess i'll give it a try then...
... for the rice crispies... we dont wanna play with food, right?!?? :D ;)

@ skipjack: Yea, it certainly does. The only thing you have to to, is to wring out the tap soaked corncob very well. It seems as it is not wet enough anymore then, but it is!
An addition of MAX. 5% dextrine to the bp works fine.

I have just tried to make some rice crispies covered with BP in Burlhorses post he mentions using rice hulls with 6 to 1 ratio?

.So i weighed 150 grams of crispies & added the 25 grams of BP+5% dextrin i mixed them well in my star roller, but 25 g hardly coverd the crispies i had to add over 150g BP to make a nice coating??...

..is the ratio of 6 to 1= 6 BP to 1 Rice Crispies? or is it 6 rice Crispies to 1 BP?

It's 6bp to 1rc. The bigger the shell, the lower the ratio....

Has anyone used grass seed coated in BP? I tried this before and didnt have much luck. I have tried this again today but this time using my star roller to coat them and they get a nice coating very easily.
