What you really need is a drying box. There is a good description in lesson 3 of Ned Gorski's 'Fireworking 101' course, which is available - without subscription - at www.fireworking.com. An easy alternative which should solve most drying problems in our climate is to buy a fruit and vegetable dehydrator.

What a wonderful day! It was great to meet with a number of people I hadn't seen for quite a while, and to make some new friends. Everything about the day was entertaining, informative, amusing or just plain fun - and frequently all of them at the same time.
I was impressed by the really positive attitude that everyone showed, and and hope it marks the beginning of a return to a more active Society.
Thanks to everyone who was involved in organising the event.
