Ball Mill Containers and Grip

28 May 2006 - 02:22 AM

Hey guys, i built my own ball mill and am just having trouble with grip. I cant seem to find anything half decent.. and when i do it breaks or wears off way too quick! Would anyone have any suggestions on what i could use? What do you use for grip on the container or on the 'rods' my container is only about 200mm wide and the rods are 20mm. Only one of the rods spins from the motor too. Thanks a lot guys!

Meshing and Pressing!

03 January 2006 - 01:37 AM

I have been reading the through the forum and see things like '#60 Mesh' or similar. What does this mean..? is it higher the number the finer the ingredient or something... Also anyone know where u could get a decent meshing 'tool'? Another thing, pressing. I have ready through other pressing posts but basically.. Pressing means just compacted powder right..? lol (sorry about the questions, simple and obvious probably.. but you have to start somewhere!) I just want to clarify this. Thanks, Scott!
