The only other "recent" post I see is a spammy dating post. So here is a real one! How is everyone doing? I think I can call this now, I'm officially a "retired" pyro. Had a bit of fun during the first lockdown with some bits, but essentially moved on now. Doesn't the summer of 2020 suddenly seem a distant memory? I've left retail now after 12 lonnnggg years ah ha! Which means I'm re-discovering the concepts of weekends off.

Hope everyone is doing well. If anyone reads this, and you still remember your long in, do say hello. 

So, it's a chillier September day- very early bonfire night feels! Part of me wants to get in the car and explore some fireworks shops, like old times, part of me wants to just get warm again. I'm having this year as a sort of settling down year, as long term my PhD will naturally dominate. I kinda want that to be the case too, life is about moving on. 

But yeah, if anyone does read this and feels like logging in, do say hello. 

So, I'm back at the job I left in late 2022. Came back with a  clear request to have Bonfire weekend off!! How do the years go by so fast? 

Random, but HELLO to anyone who knows me. Well, it happened. Now doing my PhD at Lancaster, focusing on the history of mental health as a concept. And Greggs didn't last. 

Hello anyone So after 12 years of working at f---ing Spar shops, I am doing something a bit more rewarding. Invigilating exams at Lancaster University. And still working at a Greggs. For me the "Pyro" years have come to an end, but not in a bad way. It was "the thing" of my 30s! Still checking out this forum if anyone wants to say hello!
