I got a pyro job with no degrees, I just got introduced into the company by a freind, and I went to the training and impressed the manager and Im working on large shows weekly now....

The blades are 6mm thick carbon steel. It runs off a 1500w motor, the lights dim when you turn it on :lol:

HD i abit of a pain in the arse really. The main problem is the file sizes are HUGE and even with my powerhouse editing system it takes a long time to render. Also it wont support live streaming to an external AV device, which is essential for proper editing and colour correction.

I shot the display in 16:9 SD which will be enough.

Movie maker is ok for simple cuts, just stay away from the transtions.

I personaly use an Apple Final Cut Studio 2 system, but them im a freelance video editor. FCS is pretty complex.

There is a editor called uLead edit studio which im told is ok. There is also pinnacle studio 8.

Other than that, adobe premiere is a copy of Final Cut, which was made for the windows users. You could try that...
