I am starting with unchoked fountains and was wondering just how important the hole made by a real fountain tooling kit is and how far into the tube it needs to go if it is very important.
Also, what is the suggested choked hole for a 1" ID tube?

How important is the spindle hole in a fountain?

Scissors or razor blade to cut visco fuse.

I have read about using razor blade as not to crimp or pinch the fuse to keep powder from falling out.

Now now people, I'm talking ball mill media, especially lead balls.
What do you do with the media between milling different chems? Do they get a full wash with soap or water bath alone or just a simple wipe down with a damp cloth?
If washed, do you dry them any special way?
I have read about using a batch of ball mill media per each chem then storing them in a labeled container but that want be an option for me to begin with.
Any one willing to share their knowledge here is greatly welcomed.

Magicans flash powder?

Please trust me when I say I actually read through thirty pages of the Flash powder sticky thread. My question is this, from the skylighter page just recently updated with instock product, which two items do you suggest for a flashpot in a magic show?
The product bought at a shop or online is getting so expensive and in such small amounts.
