#87698 Composition for this type of fountain

Posted by dave on 31 October 2016 - 04:23 PM

i have to say I didn't think that looked like classic dragons eggs,

I thought it looked more like a "spritzel" very drossy burn type fountain

dragons eggs tend to explode surely, and there was no real cracks present in the video

maybe a slight strobe effect was present ?

#86536 Black smokeburst/naplam effects charges

i think what you are referring to are a central flash busting charge surrounded by naphthalene flakes

this produces a loud bang and orange fireball with much black smoke

these proposals would seem to completely negate all the excellent work wayne and co. has achieved so far.

is it a case of the left hand not talking to the right hand

#79755 E-matches: Fusing, transport and safety

Posted by dave on 06 May 2013 - 06:29 PM

so whats the big deal here ?

as someone stated earlier, all stage pyro is pre fused and transported as such.

the risk would seem in actually assessing the risk by doing it yourself perhaps

all stage pyro is made in licensed premises

a no.6 ground maroon going off is going to be just as bad as a shell i would think, perhaps even worse
