What Finale?

08 October 2009 - 06:00 PM

So I have decided I would like to end with a Screaming Spiders from Epic and was thinking of firing it off with a King Cobra either side then a large rocket to finish. What else could I have with it instead to make it better (not tooooo expensive tho as the KCs are only £5)

Thanks

Chris

2009 Pricing

16 September 2009 - 07:27 PM

So most companies have raised their prices, GNF by a minimum of £5 per firework often more over 2008 prices. Epic have removed the free items for collection and had some price increases and im sure other retailers have too...

Its the same fireworks, possibly even some of the same stock, did they really need to add to their prices to cover the credit crunch? or increased fuel cost? But at £5 minimum per firework in most cases its cutting the value you get.

Is this the pattern we will see from now on untill no one can afford them? I certainly hope not!

Poor Men Shaun Selection Boxes

08 November 2008 - 12:23 PM

I know what I was getting into with selection boxes and didnt expect much, but this year was appauling. The biggest symphony Men Shaun box I had was crap! The fountains were short and quiet, the mines weedy, the rockets had very little noise, colour or size. Even they very large head rockets were shoddy and quite frankly pants! The barrages fizzled and struggled to rise with a large amount burning on the floor after a 2ft rise. I could go on and on :(

I would advise everyone to avoid them in future and if anyone from Epic is reading this... why? You have a great range which is spoilt by that load of crap! Dont do it again lol!!

Buying Advice....

22 September 2008 - 10:01 PM

Looking to spend a bit more on fireworks this year, somewhere in the £300 region and dont know where to start. I've been looking at the Epic site and their display packs as they are too far from me to go collect singles.
Does anyone have any alternative reccomendations on either display packs or singles, I would prefer more noise and a long duration with not too many rockets and obviously the best and most bang for my £.

Thanks in advance

Chris
