Battle Field Effects

I am running an airsoft game and I am looking for some impressive battle field effects to do.

I have some nap units and load of marrons up to 100gram in size as well as som mil smoke grenades.

Is there any effects i could do that would be extra special and give that WOW factor?

Airsoft site is 1000 acres so can be pretty much any size.

I do alot of battle field simulation stuff for airsoft and painball and for alot of local re enacters.

I got some of it on film and wondering what you all think :)

Sparks?

I am doing a special effect soon and i need it to create sparks.

Basically is going to be an explosion but i want it to throw sparks from the explosion and i was wondering what i could use.
