I know that shimizu has these dark compositions, they are not 100%, the one i saw is totally dark in the sky's, the only thing i can imagine that would be close would be some kind of potassium benzoate, i am saying this is because using benzo for bursting charge is invisible, but thanks anyway, sorry for posting this topic twice but i am new.

Hi Joe and welcome to the forum.

Maybe... Of the classic Shimizu Dark Relay compositions, one uses charcoal as the main fuel so would appear dark grey in the cut through star, the other uses red gum and would be a light red so it might appear white. I'm sure benzoates could be made to work and would probably be cheaper than red gum.
