Here's a nice 6" ball shellPosted Image Posted Image booster, just 5 hours of pasting!P.S. Does anyone know of some free software so I can rotate the video

First class pasting on the shell and the lift to break perfectly timed, what is the spider web star formula and the charcoal used?

Thanks chaps....The comp was Chrys#6, pretty much all of the stars were 19mm (pumped) I used a few 10-15mm to pack the shell.....

Shell= 1kg
Lift 75g

Iv got to say, I used the 3 strip method and each layer (20) looked like the finished layer!!!. 6" Colour next hehe

I would if I was making 20 shells at a time. I only do cylindrical shells for the most part, and I reinforce them with twine. So I don't often do any pasting.

Dont get me wrong, if I had to paste 20 shells I wouldn't be too bothered, though they would have a nice last layer.

Bulk pasting of shells really isn't too bad if you have a fast way to cut the strips, or a few people working together. You can work your way down the line, while freshly pasted shells have a fan blowing over them. By the time you get back to the start, it's dry enough to add another layer. You could potentially add all the layers at once without ending up with a raisin. The strips have time to break in while you're doing other stuff as well.

I pasted 30 for New Year's Eve. My tape was pretty thin.

BTW, when you say pokey, do you mean a weak burst?
