BIG thanks to everyone who organized the event. I had a great day, and the display, well, WOW!!. B)

I'll post the video of the display shortly, but it won't do it justice. You had to be there!

I'll also post some pics, and post a proper tutorial on cakes later :P

Cheers
Dean

Yeah Richard, got the whole display, looks great, but pyrobin is taking it's sweet time showing me the link. It's only 89MB

I can post some pics of the firing site in the mean time?

Was a great day!! Cheers for everyone's help, would not have been possible without the help we had. I was pleased with the show, almost everything fired just a few we knew would be left and some random bits left. Sorry for the wake up call at 10am! Looking forward to the link for vids/pics!

Was nice to see some new faces and meet the usual suspects!

Just to agree with all, great day and thanks to all involved.

Thanks to Dean for his cake demo - he looked really nervous, but did a great job just the same!

Will put a few pics up soon - will post on here when I do...

Certainly more members there than last time - we start to look like a force to be reckoned with. Anybody who did not come - please come next time, no matter how far or how busy you are - you missed out.

Sounds like it went really well! B)

But to echo what starseeker said, it just seemed a little too far to drive there and back in a day for me. I guess thats always going to be somewhat of an issue with these events.

Well, good stuff! I'm sure there will be lots more good events in the future.
OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is. ;)

Hi all,

Looks like you had a successful event!

Just a few questions

1, all told.........how many of ya turned up?

2, was it for the weekend or just the day?

3, did anyone put on other facilities for entertainment, food etc?

4, when is the next meet?

Well I could only make it for the saturday. Great day! Ace site! Food by the rocketry people, several rocketry shops to browse. Truly fabulous display.

Great that the dry business of the AGM had such a great "sweetener" probably not good for public transport users as there is no service to the "middle of a field in Cambridgeshire"
