Simply it's good for what it tries to be - a small unit for small shows. It is superseded by everything else from easy pyro to Fire by Wire and Fire One. It's also cheaper than most things on the market.
Cat5 cable is 8 core so there can be 16 cues, but half the formites wouldn't realise that til later. -and that's before you go digital!

I honestly cant see this being any use to many of the people on this site guys. It only really is useful for visco fused fireworks, its so costly and the biggest drawback is the lack of range. Its not even suitable for things requiring a 25m distance.
Its for consumer fireworks, Cat 2 and 3, and as such is useful for people (like me!) who use these.
As long as you are able to back away (just as if you had lit a firework directly) these are perfectly safe to use with Cat 3.
That said, at £20 and £10 for spare clips it is a bit pricey.

OK, interest in fireworks to be resumed in the spring. It usually is.
