Haha,

Lidl are going to be soo made up that they chose to stock Weco this year. I bet they have sold more fireworks so far than what they sold all together last year with TNT (someone on UKFR has bought 12 25 carat cakes!).

I cant wait to fire these cakes as well as the fire fighter and inpanema cakes!

Hopefully Lidl will stock weco again next year too.

12 wtf! lol. Would be nice if the uploader of the 25 carat cake vid would upload vids of the fire fighter and ipanema cakes. Iv seen ones on the weco website but don't think they do the cakes justice!!!Posted Image

I was in Lidl the other day and shocked to see posters advertising Weco, they have a good reputation despite being sold in the supermarkets.

I was in the Rochdale branch of The Range saturday and they have two big mama rockets for £60, they're enormous , but looking around the 'net afterwards they appear to be selling around £20 each!

Forget The Range then.........

I have heard that Tesco have a time range from when you can buy fireworks, eg. 10 AM - 5PM. I am not certain if this is true and if it is could someone please tell me this time range?

I know its off topic but I didnt think it was worth a new topic.

But, does anyone know what email addresses are actually accepted over on UKFR to sign up? I have tried a few times with hotmail, yahoo and google mail and none are valid email addresses! Does anyone know how I can sign up?

Thanks
Dan

Edit: Just got back from lidl with these two to add to my Lidl collection. Also heres a pic of everything (minus these two cakes Ive just came back with).

Ahh just been Tesco today.
Not a very good selection to be blunt, if BoGoFs are bad, then the whole selection is bad. Everything is BoGoF except the "display in a box" sets.
I'll check out Lidl sometime soon to see if their stuff is as good as some of us say they are...

Each Tesco could have a different time range, due to them having to put the selling staff on a course, It depends what hours that member of staff is contracted for.

Just thaught I would post this here. Its not a supermarket but a garden centre.

Anyway, over on MSE forum there is a guy who has found that there are amazing deals to be had on Kimbolton!

The garden centre is located near Birmingham but there are 7 branches (unsure if they all stock fireworks) @ http://www.g-l.co.uk/

Also I would recommend you visit http://forums.moneys...=284808&page=45 just to see how cheap they actually are! He has an amazing stash with most items being at least 50% less than RRP.

Personally I would have thought you'd be better off going with the Lidl £12.99 selection box. I don't know what Tesco's selection boxes are like but the Sainsbury's £40 one (BOGOF) looks very poor, certainly not worth £40.

Has anyone tested any of the Lidl rockets yet?

The tesco ones are practically the same to the sainsburies one (BoGoF) cheap as heck.
They always think that the consumer will fall for these advertising gimmicks but they won't
someone should put up some warnings about the inadequacy of these supermarket fireworks.

Just had a look at the Argos Website their fireworks have just gone on sale - Standard Fireworks. They claim to be half price though the fireworks and range appear not to be all that.

Couldnt believe that when I read it! Thanks for the info!

http://www.argos.co....ks|23599549.htm

Link above for anyone interested. I would not recommend though! They don't look all that good! - Only available in larger stores

Edit:

Oh at least its nice to know that they have videos of some of their fireworks on there website! Gives me something to watch anyway!
