Sounds like you guys need more control of your machine.

If you get popups appearing without being asked or them being blocked by IE/Netscape or your firewall, then rather you then me!

Turn run activex to "ask first", and unsafe scripting to "ask first" in your options, I loaded his site with no problems.

Thanks for the information about my borrowed picture!

I've sent the guy an email suggesting that he might acknoledge where he got it from. Will wait and see what happens.

I don't mind anyone using the stuff on my site - that's what it's there for but I think it would be nice to be asked...

If you don't want it nicked, don't put it on a site.

The web has changed in the last 15 years from a completely anarchic and free economy to a set of rules and protocols, sales techniques and manipulations... which we can all use to feel upset if we want, I prefer to rejoice in the vast sea if information which really has no beginning and no end and no ownership. Hey , the whole Encyclopedia Britannica is there to be lifted....

I love to pinch images, ideas, words, whatever I can find, and if someone pinches mine then I feel happy that they were worthy of someones interest.

In a word....Chill Out

Gor, if someone was stealing your content and passing it off as their own would you be happy? There is nothing wrong with using other peoples pictures as long as you attribute the source and ask them beforehand.

On a lighter note ... the newer guy, alany has a spiffy site. I've only looked at some pyro stuff but I can't help but be impressed with how well he has documented everything.

The other guy just wants to belong. Let's take him to McDonalds.

I'm glad Bernie has mentioned Mr Yates' site!

A truly splendid piece of work.

WELL DONE MR YATES - YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD!
