A bit off topic but couldnt you just say it was being used for a potato gun because their legal as long as they only fire onto your own land.

There are far easier ways to shoot a potato gun, anything that makes a spark, stungun/pietzo ignition etc... I even made one at college out of a 2 litre coke bottle and a poster tube with some Duck Tape :P fired tomatoes pretty well but thats a whole different story...

And your probably right, this heightened state of alert wont end till we have invade and liberated at least another 3 or 4 countries :P

<_<

I don't think if it was just Tomatoes or Taters being fired there would be any heightened state of alert...............................................

Some Good 'OL Southern USA Patriotic Humor for you....

"The Taliban Song" by Toby Kieth

"I'm just a middle-aged, middle-eastern camel herdin' man
I got a little, 2 bedroom cave here in North Afghanistan
Things used to be real nice and they got out of hand when they moved in
They call themselves the Taliban
(ooooo yeah the taliban) (taliban baby)

Now I ain't seen my wife's face since they came here
They make her wear a scarf over her head that covers her from ear to ear
She loves the desert and the hot white sand
But man she's just like me, nah she can't stand
The Taliban (ooo taliban baby)

You know someday soon we're both gonna saddle up and it'll be
Ride Camel Ride
My old lady she'll be here with me, smilin right by my side
We should do just fine down in Palestine or maybe Turkmenistan
We'll bid a fair adieu and flip the finger to the Taliban
(oh yeah the taliban) (baby)

I know where you comin from brother!
This is a patriotic love song
So y'all feel free to salute if you want,
You got my permission.

Now they attacked New York City cause they thought they could win
Said they would, stand and fight until the very bloody end
Mr Bush got on the phone with Iraq and Iran and said "Now, you
sons-of-bitches you better not be doin any business with the taliban"
(Taliban baby)

So we prayed to Allah with all of our might
And then those big U.S. jets came flyin one night
They dropped little b**bs all over our holy land
And man you should have seen em run like rabbits, they ran
(the taliban)

You know someday soon we're both gonna saddle up and it'll be
Ride Camel Ride
My old lady she'll be here with me, smilin right by my side
We should do real fine down around Palestine or maybe Turkmenistan
We'll bid a fair adieu and flip a couple fingers to the Taliban
(oh yeah, taliban)
we'll bid a fair adieu and flip a big boner to The Taliban (baby)"

Sorry, i was referring to Rip Rap and the conversation before about smugglying Visco into the UK, I was jsut too lazy to go back and quote him :P

You'd be surprised how much power we got out that old poster tube and water bottle :P we fired a few tomatoes over a 6 story building at college :P

Just thought I'd keep people posted on the visco rig: Have not had much time recently to work on it, but have made some very good black match that will make a useful core. I need to get some more cotton, so that will wait till the weekend. Have been using chinese fuse, which seems to be as good as visco for most things

Can a 3rd party in the US actually do that?

I thought visco was 1.4S anyway, which should be just fine as far as shipping goes, considering skylighter shipped 1.4G novelties to me with no problems. It is a big joke really, they can ship devices with chemicals in their live compositions that can't be otherwise shipped.

For example, I don't understand how they can ship binary flash packs but not the chemicals seperately.

Just got off the phone to Customs and Excise, and the HSE. Soo many numbers, and catchy hold music. All fuses seem to be listed for import under the same number: 3603001000. Visco appears to be:

"GREEN VISCO SAFETY FUSE 3/32" PPVISCO PYROTECHNICS 0105
1.4S

Customs say you DON'T need any special liscense to import this (or any other fuse/cord) I made it clear that I'm a private individual, not a company. They said that a properly labelled package of fuse going through customs would be A O K, even to a home address. So, the HSE say its OK, customs say its OK.......

As long as were Positive it's legal, I'd would be glad to reship visco over for any of you, I typically get mine from cannonfuse.com , they also sell smallish spiral wound tubes, tubes and small plastic hemis (<2"). Of course, were someone else paying, Skylighter would be fine, but with $30 minimum order and higher than usual shipping charges, I only do Skylighter every now and then for the stuff others don't have. I'm on file w/ the Hold harmless and all that already.

Hooray! My visco arrived from the US. The package was properly labelled and all, and it appears to have not been opened.

Ahhh! 100 Feet of it! :P

A mate ordered it from Cannonfuse for me, then shipped it over. He wont want loads of people pestering him about it, so dont even ask.
