We have a couple of options for the evening meet up/meal.
We could go to a local pub in Waltham abbey, the crown has been recommended.
Or we could go to the premier inn where a few of you are staying thus eliminating the need for the people that are staying over to drive.
Your thoughts please !!

Sounds good for me to have the meal at the premier inn.

As long as it's a decent restaurant, the one the hotel makes sense...

One plus for the crown is, any culture vultures can have a bit of a look round Waltham abbey. Apparently quite an interesting little town.
I don't think it would be necessary to book at the premier inn, so unless we get a sudden rush of votes for the crown i suppose we'll just go with the premier inn.

depends totally on the restaurant style.

I am happy to go with the flow,
As i am staying at the premier in it would be easy, but i like the sound of having a look around the town as it sounds interesting.
A taxi between a few of us would not be out the way.

Must admit that premier food can be a bit hit and miss, the crown does sound the better option if we can get taxis organised.

I'm at the mills tomoz, i'll take a look at the crown and get back to you's all.
Apparently Herold (of 1066 fame) is buried in the abbey.
